Contacts Tab

Overview

The Contacts section helps you manage all customer contact details in one centralized location. From here, users can view, organize, filter, import, export, and manage contacts for survey distribution and communication.

Contacts can also be grouped into lists and enriched with custom properties, making it easier to target specific audiences and improve reporting accuracy.

The Contacts section also helps track import activities, manage unsubscribed or bounced contacts, and maintain clean contact databases across projects.

When to use it:
Use Contacts when you want to organize customer data, manage survey recipients, or create targeted communication lists.

How to Use Contacts

How to Access Contacts

  1. Open the platform navigation
  2. Click Contacts

Contacts 

At the top of the Contacts page, contacts are categorized into:

  • Active Contacts
  • Unsubscribed
  • Bounced Emails

Active Contacts are subscribed contacts who can receive communication.

Unsubscribed Contacts are users who have opted out of communications.

Bounced Emails represent contacts whose emails failed to deliver successfully.

Users can switch between these tabs to quickly review and manage different contact groups.

Customize Columns

The Columns option allows users to choose which fields are visible in the contact table.

For example, users can display:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone Number
  • Region
  • Connection Type
  • Manager


This helps personalize the table view based on the information most relevant to the user.

Search & Filters

The Search bar helps quickly locate specific contacts, while filters allow users to narrow down contact data using different conditions.

Users can filter contacts using conditions such as:

  • Name contains
  • Email equals
  • Region is
  • Connection Type is


Multiple filters can be applied together for more refined segmentation.
InfoCombining filters with lists helps create highly targeted audience groups.

Export Contacts

The Export option allows users to download contact data for external use or reporting.

Users can export:

  • Selected Contacts
  • Active Contacts
  • Unsubscribed Contacts
  • Bounced Emails

This helps teams use contact data outside the platform whenever required.

Add Contacts Manually

Users can manually add contacts directly from the Contacts section.

To add contacts manually:

  1. Click Add Contacts → Add Manually
  2. Enter contact details such as:
    • Name
    • Email
    • Phone Number
    • Region
    • Connection Type
    • Manager
  3. Select the list where the contact should be added
  4. Save the contact


Users can either continue adding more contacts or save and exit once complete.

Import Contacts via CSV

Bulk contact upload is supported using CSV files.

To import contacts:

  1. Click Add Contacts → Import Contacts
  2. Choose Import from File
  3. Upload the CSV file
  4. Start the import process


Once uploaded, the system processes the file and creates contact entries automatically.
NotesEnsure CSV files follow the required structure before importing contacts.

Manage Lists

Lists help organize contacts into meaningful groups for targeted communication and campaign management.

Under Manage Lists, users can:

  • View existing lists
  • Create new lists
  • Add contacts to lists


Inside each list, users can:
  • Import contacts
  • Add contacts manually
  • Add already uploaded contacts to the list

Lists are especially useful for audience segmentation and campaign-specific targeting.

Manage Properties

Manage Properties allows users to create and manage custom contact fields.

Each property includes:

  • Property Name
  • Data Type
  • Description
  • Code

Supported data types include:

  • Text
  • Email
  • Dropdown
  • Phone Number

Users can create custom properties such as:

  • Region
  • Department
  • Customer Type



This helps capture additional customer information for filtering, reporting, and segmentation.

Manage Imports

The Manage Imports section helps track all contact import activities.

Users can:

  • View previous imports
  • Check import status
  • See the number of entries created
  • Review import errors
  • Track who performed the import
  • Start a new import


This helps maintain visibility and control over bulk contact upload activities.

Review import history regularly to identify failed uploads or duplicate data issues early.
