How to add SurveySensum surveys to Salesforce Campaigns

This document will help you understand how to integrate SurveySensum with Salesforce’s marketing email campaigns.

 

This integration will help you capture certain data from your Salesforce campaigns such as name or email address of the respondent (and other details supported by Salesforce) to make feedback tracking easier.


You can share the survey using two different methods:


  • Share via Direct link

  • Share as Embedded survey


Once you’ve created your survey on SurveySensum platform, go to the share tab and click on Share via CRM. Then proceed as follows


  1. Select Salesforce as the CRM

 

  1. Scroll down and select the variables (or metadata) that you would like to acquire from the campaigns. The link will get updated automatically.


SHARE VIA DIRECT LINK


  • Copy the link and paste it in your email campaign in Salesforce as a hyperlink.



SHARE AS EMBEDDED SURVEY


  1. Click on GET YOUR CODE button and then click on COPY in the pop-up to copy the whole code.


  1. Go to the setup menu and select setup.


  1. Go to Classic Email Templates in the Email drop down and click on the "New Template" button.


  1. Select the Custom type in step 1 and click on Next.


  1. Paste the content in the HTML Body in step 3 as shown.


  1. Click on the Preview button to test your survey and you’re good to go.
