How do I view an AI-generated summary of survey responses?
The Summary feature in Tag Analysis uses AI to generate a concise overview of your survey responses. It highlights the overall sentiment, key strengths, major concerns, and important insights from respondent feedback, making it easier to understand trends without reviewing every individual response.
Before generating the AI summary, make sure Tag Analysis and Keyword Analysis have been completed for your survey. The AI summary relies on the analyzed tags and keywords to generate meaningful insights.
To generate a survey summary
- Open Text Analytics for your survey.
- Navigate to the Tag Analysis tab.
- In the panel on the right, enable the Show Summary toggle.
- Click Generate Summary.
- Wait a few moments while the AI processes your survey responses.
Once complete, the generated summary is displayed in the Summary panel.
What's included in the summary?
The AI-generated summary typically includes:
- Overall Summary – A high-level overview of the key themes identified across all survey responses.
- Top Strengths – Positive aspects most frequently mentioned by respondents.
- Key Concerns – Common issues, pain points, or areas requiring attention.
- Key Insights – Actionable observations and recurring trends derived from customer feedback.
The summary also displays the last updated date and the total number of verbatims used to generate the analysis.
Tips
- Generate the summary after running AI Tag Analysis and Sentiment Analysis to get the most accurate results.
- The summary is generated for the overall survey analysis and is not affected by the filters applied in Tag Analysis.
- Regenerate the summary whenever a significant number of new responses have been analyzed to keep the insights up to date.
