You can manage users from the User Management section in your account settings. Depending on your requirement, you can either deactivate a user to temporarily revoke their access or delete them permanently from the account.
To remove or deactivate a user:
-
Click your Profile icon in the top-right corner.
-
Select Account Settings.
-
From the left navigation, click User Management.
-
Locate the user you want to manage.
-
Click the ⚙️ Gear icon in the Action column next to the user's name.
Choose one of the following options:
-
Deactivate – Temporarily disables the user's access while retaining their account details.
-
Delete – Permanently removes the user from your account.
What’s the difference between Deactivate and Delete?
-
Deactivate
Use this option when you want to temporarily prevent a user from accessing SurveySensum without removing their account. The user can be reactivated later if needed.
-
Delete
Use this option when the user no longer requires access. This permanently removes the user from your account and cannot be undone.
Best Practices
-
Deactivate users if they may need access again in the future.
-
Delete users only when you're certain they no longer require access.
-
Before removing a user, ensure any important dashboards, surveys, or responsibilities have been reassigned to another team member if necessary.
