How do I customize a widget title in the Dashboard?

You can customize the title of any dashboard widget to make it more meaningful or align it with your reporting needs.

To customize a widget title

  1. Navigate to Dashboards and open the dashboard containing the widget you want to rename.
  2. Click the three-dot (⋮) menu on the widget.
  3. Select Widget Settings.

  4. In the Widget Settings panel, expand the Widget Style accordion.
  5. In the Widget Title field, enter the new title you want to display.

  6. Click Save Changes.

The widget title is updated immediately and will be reflected throughout the dashboard.

Additional customization options

Along with changing the widget title, the Widget Style section also lets you:

  • Change the font, font size, and font color of the title.
  • Apply bold, italic, or underline formatting.
  • Show or hide the survey name in the widget title.
  • Show or hide the response count in the widget title.
  • Control the title visibility by choosing:
    • Always show
    • Show on hover
    • Never show
  • Customize the widget border color and background color.

Tips

  • Use concise, descriptive titles that clearly indicate the purpose of the widget (for example, Key Drivers, Customer Satisfaction, or NPS by Region).
  • Renaming a widget only changes its display title on the dashboard. It does not affect the underlying survey question or data.
  • Remember to click Save Changes before closing the settings panel, otherwise your changes will not be applied.
