Overview

SensAI is the SurveySensum's built-in AI, generates a ready-to-use survey from a simple text prompt. Enter your goal or topic, click Build Survey, and SensAI instantly creates a set of relevant questions — no manual setup needed.

This saves time, removes the guesswork of starting from scratch, and helps you launch surveys faster.

Example: Type "Collect feedback after customer onboarding" and SensAI generates questions like satisfaction ratings, ease-of-process scores, and open-ended improvement prompts — all tailored to your goal.

How to Create a Survey with AI

1. Open the survey creation dialog. Click Create Survey from your All Surveys Home.


2.  Select Create Survey with AI. In the dialog, you will see two options — Create Survey with AI and Survey from Scratch. Select Create Survey with AI.

3. Enter your prompt. In the prompt field, describe the purpose of your survey.
For example: "Collect feedback after customer onboarding." Not sure what to write? Use one of the suggested prompts — Customer feedback, Market research, or Onboarding feedback — as a starting point.

4. Click Build Survey. SensAI generates a set of relevant questions based on your prompt in seconds.



5. Review the generated questions. Browse the questions SensAI created. You can edit any question text directly, delete questions that do not fit, or click Refine your prompt to regenerate with an updated input.



6. Preview your survey. Click Preview Survey to see how the survey looks to respondents before finalising

7. Click Use this Survey. Your survey opens in the survey builder. From here, you can add or remove questions, reorder them, apply logic, and customise the design before publishing.

The quality of the generated questions depends directly on how clearly you describe your goal. Use the following guidance to get the best output from SensAI.

Idea
Iterate on your prompt if the first output is not quite right. Click Refine your prompt on the preview screen to adjust your input and regenerate without starting over.
